Anybody Interested in Podcast Interview Questions for True MS Journey of Twin Brothers by Sister Mary?

For a while I wondered about sharing this long, sad and true MS story of twin brothers as a painful family reality; but the more I wondered, the more I realized their story needs the democracy of being shared, not hidden in a dark pit of despair. This disease will continue to ravage my brothers; but perhaps, I hope their story can help someone else because today there is a new road map outside the neurologist’s tollbooth with many more options for treatment and care. However, whatever the inevitable ending of this journey will be for my brothers, it will not be in vain if their suffering can possibly ease the fears,tribulations and offer more  hopes to MS victims / patients. 

I also want to share their story as an audio book based on a Kindle reader. As I formatted the manuscript for Kindle Direct Publishing, so many more relevant questions became evident that could be best answered with a podcast interview.

Here are a dozen questions this story can answer from experience for an audience interested in disabilities, health care and new medical changes.

1. What are the different theories about why the Central Nervous System breaks down?

7. What is the main lesson that the FDA Profiteers Conspiracy and clinical trials cannot play a part in medical cannabis research?
8. What are the roles and regulations of a new player to present unbiased medical cannabis research?
9. What are some new protocols to treat MS when a one-time strategy with chemical drugs doesn’t work?
10. How can Mother Nature’s pharmacy with phytonutrients be related to a marijuana plant?
11. What are 3 actions that health consumers can consider on a future road map including the power of social media?
12. How does a cat’s spirit bind the story with and the powerful image of a cage at the end?

At the end this story shares a new road map. Of course, the medical system will prevail with doctors, FDA, clinical trials, and profusion of drugs that treat symptoms with side effects. But today’s medical vista also includes new protocols based on individual biology, to integrate medical specialists, to move beyond ego, greed and embrace the role of ethics to do no harm.  Included are new directions for scientific advancement with independent research by cannabis producers according to careful regulations.

The simple reality is it is not possible to do peer-reviewed, random drug-based clinical trials with the synergy of Nature’s whole plant. The picture of scientists trying to dissect Mother Nature for profits on a laboratory table says it all. 

Reform cannot be denied  and freedom of choice will prevail. Perhaps the Liberation of Hope can wave its banner once again.

I wonder but I really don't know. I wonder if anybody knows, even humankinds who are probably too busy with no time to dig deeper into what the right connections can mean to us all. But I care. Is caring a cycle? If you care enough about something, is that caring returned to you? If responsibility is given or taken, is that responsibility respected and used well? Generally speaking, do humankinds believe in being responsible at least, if not appreciative, of how past, present and future actions are all connected?

The Challenge and Power of Using Symbols about Teen Girls in Social Media  

And here's the true tragedy. Many young people who inhabit their smart phones will refuse to face any other truth beyond their existence on their smart phones because it becomes the core of their experience. Think about that. Mass media will never apologize for what it is doing because it makes money. Cosmetics and fashion are expensive.

This blog helps to describe the third main reason for writing this timely e-book called A Teen Girl Makes Time in the Sand. The first two blogs outline reasons 1 and 2.

1. How to stop social media from taking advantage of a rash and brash teenage brain still in development personified here as a Giant Clown Face of epic proportions  (blog One)

2. How to start looking at value of Time and power of choice as a super power tool to avoid making bad mistakes that may affect or change  the total Time Line (blog 2)

3. How to use diagrams as symbols as a base for discussion of growing up in a mass media world, of visualizing strong social forces, and structuring the experience of time.

Once more, the challenge was how to represent ideas or concepts with complex meanings in today's situations or outcomes caused by forces that are hard to describe if limited by words and given or implied interpretations. 

How can these forces be considered in abstract terms because they have no physical referents?

It is clear that abstract meanings can be powerful and can exist in imagination but the framework is formulated on more kinds of physical experiences; for example, the word love undergoes many physical transformations through time.

It is clear that we first learn about the world of objects through our senses like seeing, hearing, touching, etc. Then it takes a lot of concrete experiences and often specific words to learn more abstract meanings that, over time, can be integrated to show the value of a lesson or moral.

 So how can a teenager learn about qualities like independence, freedom, trust, loyalty, morals and power of choice if they first don't run through a gamut of experiences to qualify as a higher meaning with the value of purpose?  

For example, they can't pick up a bag filled with responsibility; they must learn its implications or lack of.  I can't pick up a choice like a carrot in my hand and tell them to find their own carrots. But I can draw a sign that represents the full context of "choice" and the difference of a "smart choice" if based on past, future and present factors.   

How can I show moral outrage over cultural disruptions or the extreme social  disadvantages played against young teen girls?  I could write a lecture or I can draw a simple diagram with identified key words and symbols.

I can take many of these changing complex concepts and give them some kind of sense impression; namely, a picture as well as a symbol. These images and associations will be better recalled and utilized.

The purpose of using a symbol is to show several deeper layers of meaning representing more details, actions, and consequences beyond its first appearance or literal meaning.

In fact, there are several symbolic intentions in this story. The complicated situation of a Social Media Circus and is effects are represented by a giant clown face.  

Another main symbol, in contrast, is the element of personal choice as a small circle attached to the spiral circle of a daily routine.

Now social media can be compared to a Giant Clown Face which is facing a small independent circle of a "smart choice" that incorporates past, present and future. How can words express this fully for individual assimilation at different levels?

Other consistent symbols are: a square represents a closed past, no replay allowed;  a spiral circle represents the energy of today; and open-ended lines represent the potential of the future yet unformed but based on yesterday's and today's actions. 

Throughout the story there are numerous examples of pictures or images which try to show the extensions of self identity, media control and social networks:

What is the difference between choice, decision and habit?

How can Time be charted on an Experience Calendar?

How can bad choice disrupt a total life line?

How dropping-out of school affects the normal social rites of passage?

How can a young, rash and brash adolescent brain survive in a Selfie Domain? 

Interestingly, I have always had a strong interest in using visual language to communicate meanings.  I sincerely believe that many of these images have been kept simple enough for others to draw and elaborate on if they wish.

I believe that an image can be worth a thousand words, and in these critical times, society can use all the words of empowerment and characters that it can find.

Imagine, you are just 14 years old, yet your brain is wired for positive feedback which gets a dopamine spike with every click, every buzz, to keep the story fresh and wanting more.  How could it be any other way? Your habit of posing and posting becomes like an itch, somebody else's itch, but you got to keep scratching it, painful as it may be at times, because sometimes you get the word LIKE.

 

Now I draw a heavier more rippled line above my lifeline. This, I think, is the internet  social media circus line.  It is powerful and here to stay forever. But I will not allow its size and influence to affect this small section of my life called teen years. I will not fall into a hole created by the Media monster. 
I am deeply trying to find some purposeful longevity in living.

NOTE: these 3 blogs outline the background and reasons for creating new personal website called Helpful Mindstream for Changes.

Until you reach this 70 year plateau, it is hard to manifest these strange new feelings of I am getting old. What do I have to show for my long years? Will my remembrances have any value? For me, this dawning seemed to happen on my birthday waking up to face a dark curtain behind which were my remaining years as few or many as they may be. The sense of mortality was awakened as well as any tangent of immortality after my life ends. No fear, no worry, just possible regret that my work, my thoughts, my spirit would be buried without cogency mixed in with the rocks and dirt.

So I have decided to take this virtual space to share my mind streams. My life's journey so far has been both average, different and beyond comprehension why I would spend so much of my youth in libraries rather than at parties. Therein, perhaps, there may lie some lessons for future generations.

I was raised in a pioneer home within a homesteading family with four brothers where electric power and rotary telephone service were experienced in my teen years. Core values of hard work, discipline, cooperation, pride and gratitude were as deeply engraved as the wood grain in the logs in our small house. I earned my Education degree and taught for 24 years both in big cities and rural communities. I was able to take early retirement in order to pursue my passion of entrepreneurship in the only venue open to me, mainly the network marketing home business. Believing that any strong work ethic would succeed, starting with the right goals and answers, and making all the mistakes and misconceptions have also garnered some valuable lessons to share in future blogs.

So what are the particular peculiarities I uniquely wish to share with others on such a powerful and interactive platform like this? Is there something I can teach from my experiences having lived the pioneer mindset to the technological meshing of electronic data dispersed in bits and pieces where tweets are mere pebbles skipping across a vast knowledge base…

"A little learning is a dangerous thing; drink deep, or taste not the Pierian spring."

In my shortened timeline, I need to plot some definite intentions.

Here are some realistic objectives of what I would like to accomplish with my new  website and blogs:

...compile some reports on internet marketing for those who need to market their brands on the world wide web with personal insights and one recommendation.

...write an  e- book about shattered dreams of teenage girls in this Selfie Age that ends with a well defined strategy to make better choices at the right time. Include hands on exercises to explore developing mind patterns.

... review and improve a children's book about the Adventures of a Water Sprite together with a activity book that invites children to explore the intricacies and balances of natural cycles…time to take a break from wild games and Disney World caricatures.

... rework the theories behind exercises for Adventures with Ideas and implement Brain Cards ( vs Brain Bags) where you don't have to stay within the lines. Early in my career I became fascinated with Visual Literacy as a mode of communication and will revisit again the difference between percepts and concepts (Perception before Cognition)...makes for some good debates way beyond the flicker of tweets.

...and, of course, have some creative thinking fun to share ideas and transformations along the way.

Question: Is there a way to show teenage girls that their adolescent brains may have been hacked causing problems and regrets with Selfie addiction, with a discussion about the importance of respecting their timelines?

Answer:  A new e-book called A Teen Girl Faces Time in the Sand ...A Timely Tale of Social Media struggles, Regrets and Survival with a Super-Power Tool. The key question is asked in chapter one, "What if, you had the power to see the future and how your actions today may affect it? Would you make the same choices today?"

And so, this story is told of a young adolescent girl's struggles in a hyper media environment, the realization of her rash and brash  brain, her descent into drug addiction, her nightmares of media control, and her gradual awareness of the transient TIME measured not by numbers, counting hours or days, but with blocks and circles of experience as first drawn in the sand and explained by her Grannie.

Question:  How can we show young people that ecological systems are related and depended on each other from the smallest micro-organisms to plants, animals, air, water and even hydrocarbons where humans play a deciding role in survival at all levels?

This unique water sprite with plant features is often amazed with his encounters with different characters, some imaginary, but in real settings; and how many life forms and systems are interdependent where one broken link can affect the whole system. He can communicate with other beings because of a shared affinity with any organic life form of which there is a great quantity derived from our carbon based planet. The story is first person narration to personify the water sprite as a friend we should all care about his manners, fears and hopes and the essential cyclical truths he discovers.

My thoughts wander about the kind of ecology that humankinds believe in, as I have witnessed. Do they get it that natural life begins with DNA in a nucleus, one celled animals and plants, then species and then an ecosystem? Do they know that every small ecosystem is part of the total large biosphere on Earth that connects them all; water, air, food, resources, and shelter? Do they realize that perpetual growth, industry or destruction of any habitat is not sustainable on a limited planet?
